Want to learn more about why the <="http://teamsternation.blogspot.com/2013/05/laborers-worldwide-rally-against-closed.html">Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) could be such a raw deal for workers? Anti-TPP activists will be hosting a webinar tomorrow beginning at 5 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time from Lima, Peru, where the second-to-last round of talks are taking place. This webinar is a great opportunity to get a better handle on this corporate-backed proposed trade agreement.

The TPP is of great concern to regular citizens because of its potential impact on democracy, workers, farmers, public services, the earth and access to affordable medicines. Unfortunately, the general public is largely unaware about its possible implications. To take part in the webinar, e-mail Stuart Trew, the Council of Canadians' trade campaigner, at <="mailto:strew@canadians.org">strew@canadians.org. Space is limited.

Those who register can access the event <="https://canadians.adobeconnect.com/_a1117443292/tppxborder_peru/?launcher=false">here. The webinar is part of the TPP's May Days of Action, which includes assemblies, public events and other activities across five continents.
