Without unions, freedom is lost, said Ronald Reagan

Here's a blast from the past: Ronald Reagan in 1980 praising unions for preserving freedom in Poland. What he said was:

...where free unions and collective bargaining are forbidden, freedom is lost.

Then of course he fired the air traffic controllers...
